Agartala, Tripura, 10th of October, 2026 : Agartala, October 9, 2026: The Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project (TRESP) organised a two-day Post-Harvest Marketing Training Workshop at Pragna Bhavan, Agartala, on October 8–9, bringing together 78 participants to strengthen agricultural marketing and improve farmers’ income opportunities.
Organised by the Agriculture and Horticulture PIU under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, the workshop focused on post-harvest management, crop planning, cluster development, digital marketing, export opportunities and market linkages. Experts, including representatives from APEDA, shared practical insights to help field-level functionaries support farmers and Producer Groups (PGs).
The initiative reaffirms TRESP’s commitment to promoting market-oriented agriculture, strengthening Producer Groups and connecting Tripura’s farming communities with wider markets for a more sustainable and prosperous future.
