Kaipeng Rai Conducted Press Meet.           

Amarpur, Tripura, 18th of October 2026 : With the initiative of Kaipeng Rai of the state has conducted a crucial press meet here Dhanlekha village under Ampi nagar block in Gomati Tripura on Saturday (17th October, 2026).

On this occasion many Kaipeng social leaders have assembled here in the programme venue and took active participation in the event. Following a recent unexpected social event of the tribe this press meet has focussed over many unacceptable issues created by a group people of the Kaipeng society.

As per the report, the Kaipeng society is administered by their society supreme called Rai. Rai is on the top most position in their social administration. Sources said, the present state level Rai is Dharma Raj Kaipeng who is active now in his administrative tenure position. Through the press meet session the concerned social representatives have raised strong allegation over those expelled social leaders who were affiliated with their state level society management committee earlier now without any consultation with the present Rai they have formed another Kaipeng social administrative committee and selected a new Rai for society management. It is mentionable here that for disorder behaviour Rai Dharma Raj Kaipeng has expelled several organisation members from the committee for 6 months.

The present authentic Rai Dharma Raj Kaipeng has expressed that they were provided around 2.5 lakhs rupees from government for their previous Rai Mela and over that money withdraw issue has created negativity amidst the social leaders. One group has withdrawn about 1 lakh rupees avoiding their legal procedure for which Rai Dharma Raj Kaipeng has expelled them from committee.

Now, the Kaipeng society Rai has fingered the leaders’ group who are trying to destroy the unity of the society and claimed that the new Rai and the committee which was formed by those expelled members is illegal and should be rejected by all in Kaipeng society.
