NCC Expansion, Training Academy And Higher Education Integration Discussed At Guwahati Conference.

Guwahati, Assam / Agartala, Tripura, 18th of October, 2026 : NCC Joint State Representatives and Additional Directors General Conference – held today in Guwahati under the chairmanship of Honorable Minister of State, Ministry of Defence, Shri श्रूज्य शेठजीर, on behalf of Tripura State. By participating in the expansion of NCC in the state, infrastructure development, recruitment of non-military personnel and I highlighted important points regarding more effectively linking NCC with higher education.

Besides, construction of NCC Training Academy, arrangement of necessary land and building, Workforce crisis alleviation and higher education – NCC as an optional and credit based subject. There is also discussion about effective inclusion.
