Dharmanagar, Tripura, 31st of October, 2026 : Three people sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a tuk-tuk on the Pratyekroy road near Dighalbak Chowmuhani in Dharmanagar subdivision of North Tripura district on Friday (30th October, 2026).
The accident occurred on Friday evening, triggering tension in the area. According to reports, the accident involved a motorcycle bearing registration number TR05F9987 and a tuk-tuk bearing registration number TR05ER1410. The motorcycle was being driven by Ravi Kodal (33), who was accompanied by Akhil Karmakar (23) as a pillion rider. Both are residents of the Ranibari area. The tuk-tuk was driven by Milan Nath (32), a resident of Pratyekroy.
Following the collision, local residents immediately informed the Dharmanagar Fire and Emergency Services. Fire personnel rushed to the spot, rescued all three injured persons and shifted them to Dharmanagar District Hospital for medical treatment.Motorcycle rider Ravi Kodal reportedly sustained serious injuries. All three injured persons are currently undergoing treatment at Dharmanagar District Hospital.
