Locals Staged Road Blockade At Tuidu.     

Amarpur, Tripura, 3rd of November 2026 : The locals inhabitants of Tuidu have staged a road blockade here on Teliamura-Amarpur road at Tuidu on Tuesday (3rd November, 2026). As per the report, the road from Tuidu to Thali Bari about several km distance is very miserable for last many years. In the same way another road from Tuidu market to Gandaek Para about 5 km distance is fully troublesome for last one decade.

Despite of appealing many times the concerned PWD authority remain indifference; no initiative has been taken till the date. Today angry villagers have assembled here in Tuidu market area and blocked the main road of the locality. The villagers have raised their voice to renovate the said roads immediately.

After receiving information that both sides of the road stopped vehicle lines have created enormous disturbance for the passengers the PWD SDO has rushed to the spot and given them a written promise stating that very shortly maintenance implementation will be initiated. Later on, the blockade was withdrawn.
