With the initiative of Youth Affairs and Sports Department, under Teliamura Sub-division “Khelo Tripura Sustha Tripura” has been organized to mark the “Drug-Free Tripura” at Chitrangada Kala Kendra, Teliamura on Wednesday, (30th November, 2022). In the presence of dignitaries MLA Kalyani Roy inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
Aiming to abolish the harmful tendency of multiple drugs prevalence among the youngsters Government have taken initiatives in the entire State. In particular, Government management in various places has been making innovative attempts to keep students and youth away from the shadow of drugs. One such unprecedented program was observed today at Chitrangada Kala Kendra, under Teliamura sub-division.
“Drug free Tripura” should be formed. The society to come forward to make the society free from drugs, especially the students and the youth, to take a responsible role in the society”, MLA Kalyani Roy said at “Khelo Tripura Sustha Tripura” to mark the “Drug-Free Tripura” programme. She also said the youth should be contemplate about this and get rid of it.
Rupak Sarkar Chairman, Teliamura Municipal Council, Jamuna Das Chairman, Teliamura Panchayat Samiti, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Prasun Kanti Tripura, Social activist Ranjit Sutradhar and other dignitaries were present in the awareness programme.
