With the initiative of TIPRA Engineers’ Society an anti drug awareness campaign has been conducted here in Rajmoni Roaja Para, West Govinda Bari VC in Chawmanu block in Dhalai district today. To follow the motto, ‘Say Yes To Life, No To Drug’ the TIPRA Engineer’ Society members have taught the common people over the harmful effects of drugs and motivated the youngsters to avoid all kinds of drugs that are dangerous for human healthy life. The society members have explained how drug addiction generates destruction in family and individual life creating poverty in family life.
The TEST body has provided many important tips to the locals over the dangerous consequences of narcotic items. Addressing the programme participants TEST secretary Jiban Debbarma said, “Drugs pull the society backward and all drugs lead our youngsters into destruction. We have to save our social progress by demolishing all kinds of narcotic tendencies of different category of drugs. It is our fundamental responsibility to create proper awareness against narcotic abuses.” In the other hand the TEST has distributed 44 blankets among poor & needy families to prevent themselves from this terrible cool. The local people have appreciated this generous initiative and thanked the TEST for their good job.
