As per direction of the Election commission of India the State Excise Organization is conducting raids to curb illicit liquor selling, manufacturing and transportation on daily basis. As per report, the Excise Organization seized 1347.473 litres of illicit liquor on 30th January, 2023 throughout the State which value stands to Rs.3,15,751/-.
After date of announcement of poll i.e. on 18-01-2023 upto 30-01-2023, the State Excise Organization seized total 7793.648 litres of illicit liquor which value stands to total Rs.17,14,351/- and total cases registered 29 nos and total 10 nos. persons arrested.
