Evey year, a little girl is selected for Kumari Puja, a ritual performed. Kumari Puja on the occasion of Maha Ashtami celebrations of Basanti Durga Puja at Anandamayee Ashram, Agartala on Wednesday (29th March, 2023).
Draped in a red sari, seven-year-old Ditipriya Bhattacharjee from Bhati Abhaynagar, Father Dibyendu Bhattacharjee and Mother Supreeti Chakraborty was a live incarnation of Goddess Durga during Kumari Puja performed on the occasion of Maha Ashtami at Anandamayee Ashram. She is a class Two student of Shri Krishna Mission School.
