
Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the New Parliament Building at New Delhi on Sunday (28th May, 2023). The ceremony began with traditional prayers and Vedic rituals. ‘Sengol’, a historic sceptre, was installed next to the Speaker’s chair by Prime Minister Modi after performing the necessary rituals. Hon’ble Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla was also present with along with Prime Minister.


Hon’ble Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Hon’ble MP and Former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Hon’ble MP and Union Social Justice And Empowerment Minister Pratima Bhoumik, Hon’ble MP Rebati Tripura and other Union Ministers, MP, Chief Ministers of several States participated in the inauguration ceremony of new Parliament Building.
