
A total of four shops were burnt due to electrical short circuit at Golabari Chowmuhani area, Teliamura at last night. As per the report, on Saturday night at approximately 12:30 hours a devastating fire incident has occurred in Golabari Chowmuhani area where 4 shops have been turned into ashes.

According to the details of the incident, at around 12:30 hours last night, when the Teliamura forest department staff were coming from Krishnapur area on night patrolling, they saw Golabari Chowmuhani and a short circuit from an electric pole started a fire in a shop. Immediately they shouted to the locals and informed Teliamura fire department. Four shops were engulfed in flames before the fire brigade arrived. A house was also saved by the efforts of Teliamura fire brigade personnel who brought the fire under control after a long effort of about an hour. People of the area praised the fire brigade personnel. It is known that the amount of damage will be around one crore. The owner of the shop and his family broke down in tears. All the shops were owned by the same family at the funeral.
