With the initiative of Teliamura Fisheries Department organized stocking programme of Fish Seeding in the water of Khowai river in collaboration of Fisheries Department Government of Tripura, at Chakmaghat area, Teliamura Sub-division under Khowai District on Saturday (7th October, 2023). About 1 lakh 53 thousand stocking fish seedlings in the Khowai River from the National Fisheries Development fund. Hon’ble Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, Statistics Minister Bikash Debbarma, Superintendent of Teliamura Fisheries Department Bivas Biswas, Chairman of Teliamura Panchayat Samiti Jamuna Das Roy, Social activist Bijan Kar and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
