Agartala, 17th of January 2024 : Ms. Sonali Mishra, IPS, Additional Director General, BSF (Eastern Command) Kolkata arrived at Agartala on 16th January 2024 on her four-days visit to BSF Tripura Frontier. Shri Patel Piyush Purusottam Das, IPS, IG BSF Tripura Frontier received her followed by “Guard of honor” at Officers’ institute, Salbagan. IG BSF Tripura Frontier briefed her about the operational preparedness of Tripura Frontier.
After the briefing session, she along with IG Tripura Frontier departed for border of North Tripura and Dhalai district. She visited Border Out Post Khantalang, R C Nath & M K Para and interacted with commanders and troops present on the ground and lauded their efforts of border guarding in tough conditions.
