Manipur, 5th of February, 2024 : Assam Rifles organized a weapon and equipment display for students of NIT Silchar on 03 February 2024. The weapon display was followed by a motivational lecture to educate the students about history of the Armed Forces and important role played by the Army & Assam Rifles. The weapon display and lecture enlightened the students about the armed forces.
It also offered an opportunity to the young students to have a first-hand experience of the important role played by the armed forces in securing the borders of the nation. The inquisitiveness and enthusiasm to see the weapons and equipment on the inventory of the Assam Rifles was evident during the conduct of event. The young aspirants were also informed regarding the various career opportunities in Army/AR.
