State Government Planning To Open A Sub-Divisional Hospital In Agartala City.

Agartala, 30th of May, 2024 : The State Government planning to new Sub-Divisional Hospital at old AMC office premises, kasari Patti in Agartala City. During the patients in the Govind Ballabh Pant (GBP) hospitals and Indira Gandhi Memorial (IGM) hospital in Agartala city is increasing day by day. Keeping this in view the State Government is planning to new hospital in the Agartala city.

The new hospital will be under the care of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and set up in old AMC office premises, Kashari Patti, Agartala. Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, Kiran Gitte, Secretary of Health & Family Welfare Department visited the potential site for the proposed hospital.  Apart from the Mayor of AMC, Commissioner of AMC Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav and other senior officials were present during the visit site.
