Agartala, 15th of June, 2024 : Sharadia Shil, a student of Shruti Recitation center, received a scholarship for recitals across the country in 2023-24 under CCRT’s Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme under the ministry of Culture Affairs, Government of India.
Torsha Goswami was the only one in the country in 2021-22 and Indrakshi Poddar the only one in 2022-23 created history. All three are taking training at Shruti Recitation center under the supervision of Reciter artist Smita Bhattacharya. This year, 4 people received scholarships in recitals across the country. Sharadia Shil, daughter of Pankaj Shil, Science subject teacher and Shubhra Sharma, Librarian of Birchandra State Central library.
