Amarpur, 23rd of June 2024 : With the initiative of Ampi BJP mandal 71st death anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee has been observed here in Ampinagar in Gomati Tripura with due dignity today. On this occasion a large number of party activists have assembled here in BJP party office premises and paid him homage.
Addressing the participants Ampi mandal president Shibnath Jamatira said, “Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is most memorable personality in Indian political history. Independent India’s first Industries Minister, Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee occupies an important place in the national political history as the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. June 23 2024 marks Mukherjee’s 71st death anniversary. A barrister and an academician, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee made significant contributions in the fields of education, politics, society and culture”.
Amidst the other distinguished participants there were Ampi mandal general secretary Prasanta Saha, Krishan Deb, party activist and many others remained present in the programme.
