Agartala, 24th of June, 2024 : Adrija Bhattacharjee won scholarship in ‘Bharatanatyam’ in 2024 the National Scholarship under the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship conducted by Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), scheme under the ministry of Culture, Government of India. Adrija the pride of the State, trained in ‘Bharatanatyam from Sangam Dance Academy under dance teacher Smt. Rupa Chowdhury.
Apart from dance, Adrija took music practice from Shri Amar Ghosh, recitation from Shri Pranab Saha “Dakshini”. She performed dances in the State and outside the state. Adrija has been dancing as well as acting since childhood.
She has shown appreciation in acting in films. Adrija’s father, Shri Subhranshu Shekhar Bhattacharjee, jobs at Tripura University and mother, Mrs. Karbi Chakraborty, Agartala Government Medical College and GBP Hospital.
Adrija is a class 10 student of Holy Cross School, Agartala. All her well-wishers including relatives, friends, Sangam Dance Academy and Holy Cross School authorities are simultaneously happy and proud of her success.
