Agartala, 29th of June, 2024 : India won the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on Saturday (29th June, 2024). India were crowned the champions of the world for the second time in T20 format as they beat South Africa by 7 runs in the final of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. After scoring 176/7 runs with the bat, India restricted South Africa to 169 run and India pulled off a sensational seven-run win against South Africa in a gripping final.
