Amarpur, 5th of July 2024 : Due to incessant rain landslides have blocked several roads in East DULUMA VC under Amarpur block in Gomati Tripura. As per the report, due to landslides from Amarpur-Nutanbazar main road to East Duluma panchayat area under Amarpur Sub-division total 10 villages are in great distress for road communication for last 4 days. No authority has taken initiative to remove landslides mud from the roads yet. Villagers raised allegation against the concerned authority for not taking any initiative to remove the those landslides to clean the roads. Several roads in East Duluma Panchayat have turned into death trap for the pedestrians and vehicles. Heaps of mud and garbage created critical unhygienic environment for the villagers.
