Agartala, 21st of July, 2024 : On 21st Julys 2024, On specific info a special operation was launched by BSF in Srimantapur, Sonamura under Sepahijala district in which one suspected Indian smuggler alongwith 10,000 Yaba tablets worth ₹ 50 lacs and electric auto rickshaw was apprehended.
BSF troops intercepted an electric auto rickshaw on border and while checking 10000 Yaba tablets worth ₹50 lacs were found hidden beneath the seat of auto driver.
Apprehended person along with seized items have been handed over to police for further investigation. BSF troops are on high alert in the border to deal with anti national elements and to prevent trans border crimes.
