Tripura Frontier participated in Nationwide Campaign “FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2.0” to commemorate the 75thIndependence Day – “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. This campaign in continuum from 13th August to 2ndOctober 2021 is based on the concept to encourage fitness and help all to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases etc. The concept behind this run is that “It can be run anywhere, anytime!”
On 23rd August 2021, Sh. Susanta Kumar Nath, IPS, Inspector General Tripura Frontier along with Sh. Umed Singh, DIG and other Senior Officers, Subordinate Officers & Other Ranks of BSF Frontier Headquarter Salbagan also participated in the event.
Total 1,886 persons including 97 Officers, 365 Subordinate Officers, 1,238 Other Ranks from BSF Frontier Headquarter Salbagan, all ancillary Sector & Battalion Headquarters along with 186 Civilians including family members & children with zeal & enthusiasm participated in the event at their respective locations.
