Agartala, Tripura, 27th of August, 2024 : On 26th August, 2024, BSF troops deployed in the area of BOP Nischintpur under West Tripura District apprehended one BD national who was trying to negotiate border fencing from Bangladesh side. The apprehended Bangladeshi national is resident of district Kishoreganj,Bangladesh.
In another operation BSF troops seized 9800 pcs of yaba tablets worth Rs 49 lakhs in the area of BOP N C Nagar under Sepahijela District .
In a separate operation in the area of BOP Kamlasagar of Sepahijela District BSF troops seized a vehicle loaded with 11 cartoons containing 6930 pcs of mobile display worth 43 lakhs.
BSF is cracking down on attempts of illegal migration/ infiltration and intensified domination in border area.
