Agartala, Tripura, 7th of September, 2024 : With the initiative of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) Tripura State Committee protest rally has been organized at Agartala on Saturday (7th September, 2024). The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) Tripura State Committee protested rally against the, in various states of the country including West Bengal R. G. Kar Medical College and Hospital incident, labourers, children, young women, and women of different ages of the society are continuously sexual violence and harassment. The rally was start from in front of party office and passes through various routes of Agartala city.
State General Secretary of CITU Shankar Prasad Datta, State President of CITU Manik Dey, Panchali Bhattacharya State Convener of Working Women Coordination Committee, ICDS State Leader Jaya Barman, Kajal Sarkar, Mid-Day-Meal State Leader Monika Datta Roy, CITU State Leader Samar Chakraborty, Tapan Das, Nirmal Roy, Sadhan Basu, Tapas Gupta and many other leaders were participated in the rally.
