Agartala, Tripura, 11th of September, 2024 : Acting on specific intelligence, two Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended by BSF in the area of BOP Murtichera in Unakoti District , while they were trying to enter Indian territory by negotiating border fence. The apprehended individuals are residents of Madaripur District, Bangladesh.
In another operation on 11th September 2024, BSF troops apprehended 01 BD national in the area of BOP Danpur under Sepahijela District, while he was trying to negotiate border fence from Bangladesh side. Apprehended Bangladeshi national is resident of District Cummilla, Bangladesh. This was stated by the PRO, BSF Tripura headquarters in a press statement issued today.
BSF has stepped up domination and operation along the border in Tripura to prevent infiltration/ exfiltration and trans-border crime.
