Agartala, Tripura, 15th of September, 2024 : Assam Rifles organized a Weapon Display program for NCC cadets of 71(I) NCC company at Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel, Agartala on Saturday with the aim to increase awareness amongst the young cadets about the role and duties of India Armed Forces.

As part of the program the NCC cadets were also encouraged to use the weapons. The event was successful in generating interest amongst the young cadets with respect to joining Armed Forces and serving the nation, said a press statement issued by Assam Rifles.

The cadets had also several queries about the weapons which were answered by personnels of Assam Rifles. A total of 504 cadets including 291 male and 313 female cadets participated in the event. The event was appreciated by the cadets of the NCC battalion. The participating NCC cadets expressed their gratitude to the Assam Rifles for organizing the event.
