BSF Tripura in continuous endeavors towards maintaining the sanctity of the Indo-Bangladesh International border in the State of Tripura is also continuously making endeavors to eradicate the menace of trans-border smuggling particularly the narcotics drugs by conducting ‘Special Operations’ along the International Boundary. In the intervening night of 17-18 Sept 2021, BSF troops successfully seized 650 Nos Yaba Tablets, 280 Bottles of Phensedyl / Eskuf Syrup,12 Bottles of Liquor, besides other contraband items and also rescued 09 Cattle having combined seizure value of Rs.5,87,782/-.
On 17th Sept 2021, in one of such operations based on a specific intelligence input, BSF troops of Border Out Post Kamlasagar, Ex-150 Bn BSF, Gokulnagar with the help of BSF Tracker Dog Zareena seized 650 Nos Yaba Tablets in bordering area under Police Station- Madhupur, Sub Division- Bishalgarh, Distt- Sepahijala, Tripura. The seized narcotics are being handed over to the Police for further course of action.
Besides above, Vigilant BSF troops deployed on the extreme frontiers of the country in the State of Tripura are considerably seizing various contraband items on regular basis.
