Students Block Road In Protest Against The Teacher Transfer.

Sabroom, Tripura, 6th of December, 2024 : Students from Garardang Higher Secondary School in Kalachara, under the Satchand  Block, Sabroom subdivision, blocked National Highway No. 8 road in Sabroom on Friday (6th November, 2024).  The students has blocked the road in Sabroom, against the transfer of their History teacher, Ranjit Debbarma. Normal life and movement of vehicles were disrupted due to the road blockade. Garardang Higher Secondary School is a Bengali medium school, most of the students are from the indigenous community. A social activist Biplab Sen of Kalachhera area and police from Manu Bazar Police Station arrived on the spot, managed them by reliable assurance and then the blockade has been withdrawn.​
