Agartala, Tripura, 9th of December, 2024 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited Food Corporation of India (FCI) Divisional Office at Nandanagar, Agartala on Monday (9th December, 2024).

Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu held a meeting with FCI officials at the conference hall and gave advice on various issues. FCI authorities informed the Governor that they have 8 food Godowns in the State. The Governor was also informed about the stock of food grains in the Godowns during the meeting.

Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inspected the FCI’s Godown, quality control laboratory, weigh bridge etc. Briefly interacting with the media the Governor said changed various policies and guidelines of the Food Corporation of India and made them timely. The State Governments in various states are now able to procure food grains locally. This has reduced the transportation cost to a great extent.
