Ampi, Tripura, 16th of December, 2024 : With the initiative of Kalai Samaj of Tripura 156th state level Kalai Rai Balma Panda 2024 has been conducted here in Tuidu Khambar Kami under Ampi Nagar RD block in Gomati Tripura.
On this auspicious occasion a large number of Kalai community people from all over the state have assembled here in the programme venue and taken participation in the programme with great enthusiasm. In the presence of many distinguished participants CEM Purna Chandra Jamatia, TTAADC has inaugurated the programme. As per the report, Kalai Rai Balma Panda is an ancient tradition of the Kalai community in which the new samaj pati is being crowned. This centuries old traditional practice is one of the biggest programme of the Kalai community of Tripura.
According to Kalai Samaj administrative procedure in every year Kalai Rai Balma Panda is organized in different locations of the state. The new Kalai Rai Satya Kalai, EM Kamal Kalai, TTAADC, MLA Biswajit Kalai, MDC Shisonlian Kaipeng, Ampi BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the programme.
