Agartala, Tripura, 2nd MAR 2025 : On 2nd March 2025 at about 1630 hrs, On specific information regarding Infiltration of 04 BD nationals from Dhaniabari, patrolling party apprehended two female and two male, when they crossed the IB from BD side.
On being enquired, two male confirmed himself as BD national and 02 female as Indian national. Daduni Chakma & Nandini Chakama are resident of Nutan Bazar, South Tripura while Bimal Chakma & Sushil Chakma are resident of Khagracheri in Bangladesh.
In another input based operation in the area of BOP Dyke VIII, at about 1730 hrs, patrol party observed unusual movement of five persons and apprehended them while crossing the IB. Later two of them were identified as BD nationals and rest as Indian.Apprehended persons are Mongkrajai Marma khagrachari, Brisha Moni chakma both are from khagracheri in Bangladesh while Punna lal chakma, Twoingnu Mog & Skiro chakma are from Gandachera, Dhalai. Further questioning is in progress.
