Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (14th November, 2021) transferred the first installment of PMAY-G (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin) to more than 1.47 lakh beneficiaries of Tripura via video conferencing. More than ₹700 crore were credited directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on the occasion. Prime Minister also interacted with the beneficiaries. Hon’ble Union Rural Development Minister Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma and other officials were present on the occasion.
