Sabroom, Tripura, 20th of April 2025 : With the jointly initiative of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and the Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra (PMDK), Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) an authorized organization of the Government of Tripura, Distribution programme of disability equipments organized at Thailik Twisa Cultural Hall, Kalachara, Sabroom on Sunday (20th April, 2025).
In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Bharatiya Janata Party President of the South District Deepayan Chowdhury inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. D. Chowdhury and presents guests distributed disability equipments to Divyangjan. At the event various essential items worth around 28 lakh have been distributed among 286 Disabilities (Divyangjan) and above 60 years of old age.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were, MLA Mailafru Mog, Social Activist Bipul Bhowmik, Biplab Sen and many other dignitaries were present in the distribution ceremony. The Disabilities (Divyangjan) have thanked for their philanthropic job as well as the generous initiative of the concerned authority.
