Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, 9th of July, 2025 : Adani Gangavaram Port, India’s deepest and one of the most modern ports in India, continues its commitment to community development and social responsibility through impactful CSR initiatives aimed at improving public infrastructure and promoting public health. As part of this, the Port has successfully installed six traffic lights and organized the region’s highest blood donorship event.

To enhance road safety and ease congestion, Adani Gangavaram Port has installed six traffic lights on the key roads connecting NH-16 with Pedagantyada and Gangavaram villages. These signals aim to streamline traffic flow, especially during peak hours, and reduce accident risk. It is noteworthy that the Port and Adani Foundation consistently maintain these roads, reflecting their dedication to public welfare.
Furthering its commitment to public health, Adani Gangavaram Port was awarded by the Indian Red Cross Society for organizing the highest blood donorship event in the region. The honour was conferred by Shri Satya Kumar Yadav, Hon’ble Minister for Health, Government of Andhra Pradesh, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day.
