Amarpur, Tripura, 16th of July 2025 : Local Inhabitants have claimed two more doctors for Ompi CHC right now. Due to shortage of doctors here in Ompi CHC general public are in inconvenient. This big Ompi CHC where regular admitted patients are existing required proper medical check up and treatment. But for not having sufficient doctors patients are in problem. Instead of increasing doctors in Ompi CHC its figure is decreasing day by day alleged locals; only two doctors are remained in Ompi hospital.

As per the local report, These two doctors are running this big hospital with great difficulties. In this rainy season different kinds of water born diseases have been prevailed in mountain areas where poor Reang, Kaipeng, Molsom etc people live. Specially indigenous patients are gathering in the hospital from various mountainous remote areas. Fever, stomach disease like dysentery and diarrhoea etc have been prevailed in rural indigenous villages under Ampi Nagar block. The two doctors are unable to maintain different sections of the hospital. Its smooth management has been collapsed. Sources said, affecting water born diseases out door patients are attending more in this season to Ompi CHC.
On the other hand, due to not having sufficient doctors health camp which was used to organize earlier in various remote hamlets is totally stopped in this moment. If one doctor is absent in the CHC for some essential outside official works then other one is unable to manage all works of the hospital. Public face more critical situation when emergency cases appear at mid night. Local inhabitants of this area demand two more doctors immediately for Ompi CHC right now. To generate a smooth, satisfactory and appreciable medical service in the CHC the concerned health department must notice this genuine demand of the public and dispose two more doctors for Ompi CHC. General public have drawn the attention of the departmental authority to manage an immediate solution of this CHC issue.
