Bengaluru, Karnataka, 22nd of July 2025 : JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), proudly concluded a 5-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” recently.

This initiative aimed to equip faculty members and Incubation Managers from AICTE-Approved Institutions with the Tools, Frameworks, and confidence to mentor student innovators and support early-stage startups.
Key Highlights of the 5-Day FDP
• 50 + Faculty Members from diverse institutions across south India participated actively in the sessions.
• 13 Expert Speakers from industry and startups shared their insights.
• Day-wise Thematic Sessions covering entrepreneurship mindset, innovation frameworks, and startup strategies.
• Hands-on Workshops on customer discovery, problem validation, and Business Model Canvas.

Exposure to IP & Startup Finance, with practical insights on protecting ideas and managing funding stages.

Peer Learning & Reflections: Empathy map-based group activities, team reflections, and institutional action plans.
Real-World Application Focus: Participants drafted actionable strategies for integrating I&E into their institutions.
