Agartala, Tripura, 26th of July 2025 : With the jointly initiative of Tripura Cricket Association organized Felicitation Ceremony of Life Members of Tripura Cricket Association at Hotel Sonar Tori, Agartala Tripura on Saturday (26th July, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
Addressing at the felicitation ceremony of Life Members Of Tripura Cricket Association Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said The State Government is working by taking up various projects to develop better infrastructure for the athletes of the state. Along with other sports, the State Government is quite sincere in the development of cricket. That our country has a special status in cricket. The Tripura Cricket Association has a lot of responsibilities to make the name of cricket in the State shine. In the coming days, with the help of TCA, there is a possibility of producing many talented cricketers in the state. In this regard, the state government will extend the necessary support. The Chief Minister said, being involved in sports not only improves health, but also helps to build oneself mentally. Health and mentality develop through sports. Besides, it will be possible to keep children away from misbehavior through sports.
Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Youth Affairs & Sports Minister Tinku Roy, Secretary of Tripura Cricket Association Subrata Dey, President of Tapan Lodh and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the event.
