Agartala, Tripura, 4th of August, 2025 : In a major crackdown, on specific intelligence in intervening night of 3rd & 4th Aug 2025, troops of Border Out Post (BOP) Nirbhoypur under Sepahijela district conducted a thorough search of the forest area in the vicinity of Indian village Nirbhoypur and recovered 10,000 Yaba tablets and 600 bottles of Phenedyl .
In addition BSF troops of Tripura Frontier in different operations seized contrabands worth Rs. 1.12 crore.
BSF has intensified operations on border and hinterland to prevent trans border smuggling .
