Sonamura, Tripura, 10th of August 2025 : On the basis of secret information Sonamura police conducted raid and searched Srimantapur area in Sonamura on Sunday (10th August, 2025) night. According to the information received, Sonamura police seized a total approximately 23Kg dry cannabis (ganja). Destination market value of the seized cannabis approx ₹2.30 lakh (Two lakh thirty thousand). After that seized it after observing all legal formalities as unclaimed. And Sonamura police station has started an investigation as to who could be the owner of these illegal ganja.
