Hyderabad, Telangana, 11th of August, 2025 : Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (The Apollo Medical College), Hyderabad, today inaugurated its new air-conditioned hospital block, adding advanced outpatient services, patient-friendly amenities, and enhanced teaching facilities to its infrastructure. The inauguration was graced by Ms. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group; Mr. N. Balram, IRS, Chairman & Managing Director, Singareni Collieries Company Ltd.; Dr. K. Manohar, Dean, AIMSR; Ms. Aparna Reddy, Chief Operating Officer, AIMSR; Dr. Balakotaiah Kasukurthi, Chief of Medical Services, Singareni Collieries; Dr. Abdul Wase, Additional Medical Superintendent, AIMSR; along with Heads of Departments and doctors from all specialties.

The Singareni Help Desk was formally inaugurated by Shri N. Balram, IRS, Chairman & Managing Director, The Singareni Collieries Company Limited to provide seamless healthcare access and assistance to all Singareni employees and their families.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Sangita Reddy said: “The new block is a significant leap forward in our commitment to providing world-class healthcare in a patient-centric environment. With modern infrastructure, specialty-focused OPDs, and advanced teaching spaces, AIMSR is strengthening both its clinical and academic excellence. More than the new infrastructure, it is the Apollo legacy of ‘service with a smile’ that truly defines who we are and remains at the heart of everything we do.” The new block will improve patient flow, expand specialty services, and provide enhanced learning environments for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. The dedicated Singareni Help Desk will ensure faster, more personalized assistance for employees of Singareni Collieries Company Ltd., further strengthening the collaboration between the two institutions.
