Agartala, Tripura, 15th of August 2025 : On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of India, Sh. A. K. Sharma, IG BSF Frontier HQ Tripura, hoisted the National Flag at Frontier HQ BSF Tripura and extended greetings to all border men and their family members. It was followed by a wreath-laying ceremony, paying tribute to the supreme sacrifice of BSF martyrs in the service of the nation.
Several events, including cycle and motorcycle rallies, tree plantation drives, band displays, and cultural programmes, were also organized by BSF in different parts of Tripura State to mark the occasion.
