Sabroom, Tripura, 22nd of August, 2025 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu interacted with the local residents, farmers and Lakhpati Didis at the East Kathalchhari SB School grounds, Sabroom Gram Panchayet under South Tripura District on Friday (22nd August, 2025).
The Governor wants to know from the people whether the benefits of various basic projects including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, water supply, healthcare, construction of toilets, etc. are reaching them on time and properly. The women of the Self-help groups present shared their experiences with the Governor. Locals said that in several cases they are already getting the benefits of Government projects, they also shared their experiences in this campaign. The Governor assured in this regard, “The main responsibility of the administration is to ensure that every Government facility reaches the people within the stipulated time. Any problem will be investigated if it is reported to the concerned department immediately.”
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were, South Tripura Zilla Sabhadipati Dipak Datta, District Superintendent of Police Mourya Krishna C, and other district officials were present at the event. They presented detailed information about various developmental activities to the Governor. The Governor also visited Tuikumba area of Sabroom subdivision and interacted with the residents there. Local villagers have appreciated the Governor’s visit to the village and his interaction with villagers.
