Agartala, Tripura, 29th of August, 2025 : A Jansuraksha Camp was successfully organized today at Harijoy Chowdhury GP under TGB Mohanpur (Jirania) Branch in West Tripura district.
The event was graced by eminent dignitaries including Shri Diganta Kr. Das (DGM, NABARD), Shri Satyendra Singh (Chairman, TGB), Shri Samar Kanti Das (Pradhan) along with senior officials from various government departments.
During the camp, officials highlighted the importance and benefits of financial inclusion schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY). Emphasis was also laid on the need for Re-KYC of bank accounts to ensure uninterrupted financial services for customers.
A special moment of the event was the handing over of a cheque of ₹2,00,000 to Shri. Krishna Dhan Sharma, nominee of a PMJJBY beneficiary, by the dignitaries.
The camp witnessed active participation from a large number of local villagers, many of whom availed on-the-spot KYC updation services through the Business Correspondent (BC) of TGB Mohanpur branch, who was present with necessary forms and support.
This program is part of the DFS-launched Jansuraksha campaign, which will be conducted across the country from 01.07.2025 to 30.09.2025
