Mumbai, Maharashtra, 3rd of September, 2025 : Reliance Jio has further consolidated its position as the leading digital service provider in the North East telecom circle, recording a net addition of 35,763 wireless mobile in July 2025, according to the latest Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) report.

Jio’s mobile subscriber base in the region increased from 4,361,273 in June to 4,397,036 in July 2025, reflecting steady and consistent growth. The North East telecom circle has witnessed a continuous expansion of digital services with Jio leading the way. Month after month, Jio has been driving connectivity across these states, ensuring access to high-quality and affordable services for more people.
Alongside mobility growth, Jio has also made strong strides in the home internet segment in the North East. As per the TRAI report, Jio serves over 227,903 subscribers on JioFiber and 69,391 subscribers on its 5G-based JioAirFiber service in the region. This reflects the rising demand for high-speed, reliable broadband solutions, both through fiber-to-the-home and next-generation fixed wireless access.
The steady adoption of Jio’s True 5G services, coupled with its expanding JioFiber and JioAirFiber base, highlights the company’s pivotal role in enabling greater digital inclusion and bridging connectivity gaps across the North Eastern states.
