Bengaluru, Karnataka, 7th of September, 2025 : The second lunar eclipse of this year is scheduled to take place on Sunday i.e. 7 September 2025. Due to the complete lunar eclipse, its effect will also be seen in India. This lunar eclipse seems to be in the sutak period, which can affect pregnant women, so pregnant women should take special care during this time.

According to Dr. Chanchal Sharma, director and gynecologist of Asha Ayurveda, this lunar eclipse will start at 9.58 minutes at night on Sunday and end at 1:26 pm on September 8. During this time, pregnant women should take special care of some things so that both mother and child can stay healthy:
Do not see the moon during lunar eclipse with naked eyes.
Take a bath before and after lunar eclipse.
The food that is kept in the house during the lunar eclipse should not eat after the eclipse ends, but after the eclipse ends, make fresh food and consume it. Because at the time of eclipse, bacteria and negative energy increases in the atmosphere, which can be harmful for pregnant women.
Very sharp things like needle, sharp knife, scissors, etc. should not be used.
Pregnant women can chant the name by taking care of God during the eclipse, it concentrates the mind, and the body communicates positive energy.
Dr. Chanchal Sharma said that there is no scientific evidence of all these things but Ayurveda believes in these beliefs. Later there is no problem, so you should take care of these things to protect. It is believed that by taking care of these things, you can save both mother and child from negative energy.
