Sabroom, Tripura, 13th of September, 2025 : The owner of a house attacked by gang of thieves in the dark of night is currently undergoing treatment at Tepania Hospital, Udaipur. According to report, a group of thieves broke into the house of Yubaraj Das in the Daspara area of Ward No. 1 of Indira Nagar Gram Panchayat under Sabroom Police Station with the intention of stealing cows on Friday (12th September) at around 2 : 30 am.
Later, when the people of the house came out after hearing Yubaraj Das’ screams, the gang of thieves fled from there. Later, when the people of the house took Yubaraj Das to Sabroom Hospital in an injured condition, the doctors at Sabroom Hospital saw that Yubaraj Das’s physical condition had deteriorated and referred him to Shantir Bazar District Hospital for better treatment. Later, the doctors at Santirbazar Bazar Hospital referred him to Udaipur Tepania Hospital for better treatment. Currently, Yubaraj Das’ condition is said to be critical.
It is mentioned that despite the continue patrolling of the border by the BSF in this area, gangs of thieves from Bangladesh often enter India by cutting the border star and stealing cows from various houses and even attacking the owners of the houses if the people of the house stop them in the dead of night. The surveillance of the BSF is now under question in this entire incident.
