Governor Of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu Inaugurates Two – Day Workshop On National Education Policy.

Agartala, Tripura, 14th of September, 2025 : With the initiative of Department of Sanskrit (Tripura University) in collaboration with Central Universities organized Two-Day Workshop on National Education Policy (NEP) – 2020 at MBB Auditorium, Tripura University on Saturday (13th September, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

Addressing at the event Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that the National Education Policy 2020 is a powerful, a strategic national goal adopted under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is formulated with the aim of restoring India’s traditional status and establishing it as a world leader. He said that the National Education Policy 2020 has been formulated for the overall development of the individual, with the main aim of building an education system based on Indian values. The National Education Policy has also focused on ensuring that students can present their best in the competitive market. He said that this policy is flexible and multifaceted, which will deeply encourage Indian languages and knowledge systems and integrate traditional knowledge with future technology.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were, Hon’ble Higher Education Minister Kishor Barman, Vice Chancellor, Tripura Central University, Shyamal Das, Raj Sharan Shahi HOD of the Education Department at the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) in Lucknow and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the event.
