Sonamura, Tripura, 15th of September, 2025 : On specific information of the Sonamura Police Station secret operation was launched in at Sonamura on Monday (15th September, 2025).
According to sources, Sonamura Police Station 1130 to 1800 hours conducted raid and searched at Dhanirampur ADC forest land & recovered and seized total 1027 kg DRY ganja into 24 no, s blue colour plastic drum, as unclaimed. After that seized it after observing all legal formalities as unclaimed. Destination market value of the seized cannabis (Ganja) approx 1 crore 54 Lakhs 5 thousands. And Sonamura police station has started an investigation as to who could be the owner of these illegal contrabands. Many more people from that area may be arrested in this case.
