Training Cum Workshop Over Organic Cultivation Organized.

Ampi, Tripura,18th of September 2025 : With the initiative of superintendent of agriculture, Ompi subdivision Nibash Debbarma a motivational awareness and training and workshop over organic cultivation of ginger and turmeric under the scheme of MOVCDNER-Phase III has been conducted here in the conference hall of Ompi SA in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of beneficiaries from different villages of the Ompi block have assembled here in the workshop and took participation in the training.

In presence of Ompi block BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia Ompi 41 constituency MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia has inaugurated the programme. The famers came from different villages have availed good tips over the organic cultivation of zinger and turmeric using advanced modern techniques to produce bumper production. Under the scheme of ATMA the concerned agriculture authority has distributed Kuroiler chicks amidst 55 beneficiaries of the block. On the other hand, the Ompi Agri-Sub-Division has distributed power sprayer to 20 beneficiaries on special subsidy.

The block BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia has addressed the famers and said, “The agriculture department is giving much to indigenous people to uplift their family financial stability but many indigenous people are not giving proper concentration over their projects. Beneficiaries must be careful and attentive to manage any kind of farming project to ensure their successful goal.” Amidst the other participants there were Shib Bhakta Jamatia, social activist, Prabir Jamatia, social activist and many others remained present in the event.
