GRP & RPF Of Agartala Apprehended 1 Bangladeshi Nationals And 1 Indians.

Agartala, Tripura, 27th of September 2025 : On specific information of the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) secret operation was launched in Agartala Railway Station on Saturday (27th September, 2025) evening. According to the sources, RPF & GRP, apprehended one (1) Bangladeshi Nationals And 1 Indians from Agartala Railway Station.

According to sources, GRP & RPF of Agartala, at about 8.30 A.M on the basis of secret information managed to caught one Bangladesi and one Indian Border tout namely (1) Yasmin Zahan Eita (27) D/O- Md Abdullah of Kalidah Mor, PO-Dogachi PS- Pabna Dist- Pabna, Country- Bangladesh and (2) Samiran Uria (22) S/O-Lt. Sri Shukra Uria of Mayachari Po-Jamdulpur PS- Kamalpur Dist- Dhalai Tripura. During their interrogation they stated that the Bangladesi woman entered into India through Khowai Border. Accordingly arrested them from Agartala Railway station near main gate. A specific case vide Agartala GRPS case no-2025GRP095, U/S-61(2)/249(b)/143(2) BNS, 2023 & U/S- 14(A)(b)/ 14(C) of the Foreigner Act-1946 & U/S- 03 of IPP Act ( Entry into India Amendment-2000) has registered against them.
